Jim Carrey’s Makes A Creepy-ish ish-ish-Video For Emma Stone
Jim Carrey *hearts* Emma Stone. Like, in a really creepy way. These two don’t seem to be doing any movies together, so this doesn’t seem to be a PR stunt. The “this” we’re talking about is a video Jim just posted about Emma, professing his love for her. See the whole video here.
This would have been totally romantical if he would’ve gone the whole I dig you routine, but then he had to throw in how the sex would be. That turns it into old man-scamming-on-younger woman weirdo territory. The video jumps right into it, with him saying, “I just wanted to let you know that I think you’re all the way beautiful. Not just pretty, but, you know, smart and kindhearted. And if I were a lot younger, I would marry you, and we would have chubby little freckled faced kids. We’d laugh all day long and go camping and play Yahtzee and tell ghost stories by the fire. And the sex?” Question mark, indeed.
He then carries on with, “Everyday for the rest of your life, you would thank God that I was the appropriate age for you. But I’m not. I’m 49. I have lines on my face, sometimes a little grey in my beard, and it takes me a little longer to pee than it used to. Those are the only discernible signs of aging that I can find so far. Anyway, I just wanted to let you know how I felt. You’re pretty special, and I wish you continued success and artistic fulfillment, but most of all, I wish you love and contentment. That’s all.” See, those last two lines — why couldn’t he have just stuck to that? That’s a lovely thing to say! We don’t want to know about his bathroom activities. And also, WTF?
